RUF wood briquettes are rectangular “brick” blocks produced by compressing dry wood residues (sawdust, shavings) under high pressure. Due to their high density, they typically burn longer than firewood, provide stable heat output, and are more convenient to handle and store.
Key benefits:
-
No chemical glue (shape is held by natural wood lignin when properly manufactured).
-
Consistent burn and easier heat control.
-
Compact & stackable — saves storage space.
-
Cleaner handling compared to raw firewood (less debris and bark).
Application (where to use)
Suitable for:
-
residential solid-fuel boilers,
-
stoves,
-
closed fireplaces,
-
wood-fuel heating appliances.
How to use:
-
Start the fire with kindling/fire starter (you can break one briquette in half).
-
Add 1–2 briquettes once the flame is stable.
-
Control air intake to adjust burn rate and heat output.
Storage tips
-
Store in a dry place only (moisture reduces performance and can crumble briquettes).
-
Keep off the ground/concrete (use a pallet).
-
Maintain proper draft and clean the flue for best results.
